Today continues the countdown of my Top Ten favorite comics from my first 200 Matter of Fact panels (EVER!).

8. Accident Factory

Again, another silly comic to start off the list. In fact, I’m going to burst your bubble and let you know that all the comcis are silly until we get to #4 on the countdown. THERE! I did it…I ruined some of the suspense…

…anyway…

Every once in a while I work a shift or two at Disney’s Animal Kingdom and I remember when they put one of these posters in the break room (Disneyfied though) and it got me thinking about where the company would not want that number to get too high at all. So that was the genesis behind this comic.  The last sentence of the comic was added at the last second, and I am really glad I added it. I think it gives it a double punch…but that’s just me…I could be wrong about that.

7. Caught Reading

This one would actually be higher if the drawing was better. It was one of those that was drawn within the first 3 months and is grossly apparent that I was trying to find my sea legs. But I find the idea of books reading each other for pleasure very amusing (NOT stimulating! But amusing…please do not misquote me on this). This one is similar in concept to the Accident Factory- who would get yelled at for reading? I guess teenage books trying to read each other. Perhaps, if these books were going to mess around in the future they should do so in a room that has a door on it.
